We love Jim Gaffigan, and got to see him last fall (never laughed so hard in my life!).
Here's a funny clip from him about kale, weird milk, and Whole Foods (paycheck).

Artist in Residence
We made a trip to the Indiana Statehouse yesterday, because Hudson's artwork was featured in a state-wide art contest in celebration of Indiana Youth Art Month. His teacher picked one piece of artwork from each grade, and Hudson was selected for the First grade. It was quite the honor.

After the ceremony, we celebrated by having linner at an Ethiopian restaurant. It was our first time having Ethiopian food, and it was quite good! Everything came out on a huge platter, and was eaten by tearing off pieces of injera, a flatbread. Brooks later told me that was his favorite part, eating everything with his hands.
