Brooks and Hudson raced in another triathlon, this time in downtown Indy. They had the privilege (?!) of swimming in the canal. The adult tri was in the morning before their race, and they were inspired by seeing the adults race. They both did a fantastic job, especially considering they mountain bike raced the day before.
Brooks's group had a mix-up as they were the first ones on the course. The volunteers accidentally sent the leaders the wrong way on the run. Hudson was 2 waves behind Brooks and finished before him.
It was nerve wracking wondering what happened to Brooks. Was he hurt? Did he finish and we missed him? He ended up running an extra 10 minutes, but finished strong. He said he liked the extra running.
