Fun and not so fun

The boys and I had fun Saturday morning. We started out with a trip to the Farmer's Market where we purchased some green beans, peppers, and apples. We then headed over to the recently reopened Kid's Museum. We have a membership that we have used other places, but never actually at the place we got it from. The boys had fun playing in a flight simulator and with the trains. They asked me on the way home when we can go back again.

Sunday morning was not so fun. Hudson had been coughing all day Saturday and we had started him on his breathing treatments. Sunday morning his respiratory rate was really high, 60 breaths a minute (should be around 30). I called the pediatrician on call and he wanted to meet us at the ER. I took Hudson to the ER where they did a chest Xray, a breathing treatment, and gave him some oral steriod. After examining him, the Dr came to the conclusion that he was having an asthma attack. His oxygen rate was okay, so they sent us home. Hudson is feeling better now. We'll go back to his Dr in 10 days and see how his asthma will have to be managed.

Glad Hudson is feeling better. That's so scary when their breathing is like that.
Sure enjoy reading about their adventures!
