Trip to the Fair

We took the boys to our County Fair this morning. They had fun looking at the antique tractors, the animals, and exhibits. Hudson was a little freaked out about how loud the animals are, especially all the roosters! He came around later though and didn't mind them. They liked the "scenes" made of Legos. I could totally see them entering when they get older.

What would a trip to the fair be without some fair food? The boys enjoyed a pork burger (total Indiana thing?) and Ryan and I had Ribeye sandwiches for lunch. The Pork tent, Beef tent, and Dairy tent all seemed to have some kind of competition going on. There was no cheese available for your pork burger (or beef burger). But the pork and dairy producers had some sort of partnership in the breakfast restaurant. I wonder how the Beef producers feel about that...
