Over break we remodeled 2 bedrooms. The boys decided they wanted to share a room. We cleared everything out, got rid of a lot of stuff, painted, and had new carpet installed. The back bedroom is now a music room. The keyboard is in there, along with all of Ryan's instruments, and he teaches his lessons back there.
For the boy's bedroom we found a great bunk bed on Wayfair and decorated the walls with art that they made. They are having fun sharing a room. It's been great to have only one bedroom for them to take care of, things have been staying much cleaner.

My kids (boy & girl, 4 years apart) slept in the same room in bunk beds until the oldest was in junior high and they never complained! It was always heart warming to hear them at night chattering with each other before they fell asleep....
