Boys Room

We are on a 2-hour delay, once again.  It's bitterly cold outside, but at least the sun is out!  I'm not looking forward to my 3 block walk to work...

Over break we remodeled 2 bedrooms.  The boys decided they wanted to share a room.  We cleared everything out, got rid of a lot of stuff, painted, and had new carpet installed.  The back bedroom is now a music room.  The keyboard is in there, along with all of Ryan's instruments, and he teaches his lessons back there.

For the boy's bedroom we found a great bunk bed on Wayfair and decorated the walls with art that they made.  They are having fun sharing a room.  It's been great to have only one bedroom for them to take care of, things have been staying much cleaner.

Mom made us some awesome pillows for the new sectional.  Now onto deciding what to do for window treatments?

Brooks got a real haircut yesterday (meaning one not by me!).  He's really into styling his hair and wanted a haircut like the other Latino boys at school.  He even got Gorilla Snot gel like they recommended.  He was excited to go back to school today and didn't want to wear a hat, even though it is super windy and feels like 6 degrees.

They both had a dentist appointment yesterday and once again had no cavities.  Hudson is getting his 6 year molars, but has no loose teeth yet.  Brooks has 3 loose ones on the top and the dentist said he'll have a nice big gap for awhile.  It's hard to believe he has been home for 7 years now.
