Winding down

It's a crazy week here with the last few days of the school year.  Hudson had his Kindergarten graduation program on Monday.  They sangs some songs and read a poem.  The whole idea of a Kindergarten graduation is silly, but it was fun to see them perform.

Hudson's teacher, Miss Gallahan.  It was her first year teaching, and she was great.  I'm sure she will remember Hudson for a long time!

Award Winners

We've had a bunch of award winners this past week.  Ryan's band received a Gold at contest on Friday.  Hudson received 2nd place at a chess tournament and Brooks won 3rd place (out of 29 K-3rd graders).  They also helped their school win 1st place out of all the elementary schools at the tournament.

Brooks earned straight As for the 3rd 9 weeks and also received the Principal's Award from his teacher.

What did I win?  Nothing, but I can now deadlift 135 lbs!
